Yelken Hotel, Antalya, Turkey

Yelken Hotel, Antalya, Turkey

Yelken Hotel was the last hotel that we stayed at in Antalya, for two nights. This is another resort type hotel, not as big as the Pine Bay but still a nice hotel with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea.
It would be fun to swim at the beach area even though it's kind of rocky. We just didn't have time to do even that. Yelken Hotel is pretty far away from Antalya, at least 40-minute drive away. There is nothing much around as far as we could see but it is situated in a pretty area. I had to ask for help a couple of times (to get envelops for tips and then something else) at the front desk but staff there just pretended that they did not see me. So, I have to say that the staff there were not very helpful.

Arriving at the Yelken after a long drive.

Checking in, waiting for our keys. Fortunately, we got an ocean view room right off the lobby area so it was very convenient.

A view of the Mediterranean from our balcony.

The room was fine with the light blue ocean theme.

Very very thin blanket.

Dining room can be very crowded, so go early.

Yes, that's the thin thin blanket.

Dinner--finally, big pieces of roasted chicken

3:00am breakfast, actually most stuff were left overs from the night before. No eggs, not even hard boiled eggs. Just staled bread and salad, mainly.

I guess it was too early for the staff to cook for us. We had to leave the hotel at 4:00am on the last day to catch our plane at 6:45 back to Istanbul.

A very quiet lobby in the early morning.
