Yokohama YCAT to Narita Airport

2023 Spring Asia Cruises II - 9-Day Kyushu Spring Flowers Cruise, Roundtrip Yokohama, Japan
March 24, 2023 (Friday) - Yokohama Debarkation

This is going to be a short post, mainly to show how we got on the Airport Limousine Bus from YCAT at Yokohama Station to Narita Airport for our flight out of Japan. We found this the most convenient way to travel between Yokohama and Narita or Haneda. All we had to do is to get to the bus station, hand our luggage to the staff who put them under the coach without us having to lift a finger. Then pick up the luggage at our destination point. Super easy and economical. Not having to haul the luggage up and down the train stations, changing trains, etc. made it so much nicer!

After another day at sea, we arrived back at Daikoku Pier in Yokohama where we picked up a taxi for Yokohama Station. Taxi rate was a little expensive, but now we understand that there are complimentary shuttles taking passengers from Daikoku Pier to Yamashita Park in the heart of Yokohama. A taxi from there to Yokohama station should be a lot cheaper.

Enjoyed our last breakfast in the Main Dining Room on Debarkation Day. This is the Japanese breakfast set for MOR.

My French toast with bacon and eggs.

Posted bus fares at YCAT for the bus ride from Yokohama to Narita. Rates are subject to change and the 2,200Y Senior tickets are no longer available when we went back in May 2023. For a one-way trip, adult is 3,700Y.

Time table from Yokohama to Narita.

Ticket counters at YCAT in Yokohama Station.

Staff are helpful and courteous.

Passengers can wait here for their bus or go to the boarding gates nearby.

On the bus to Narita, we went past Daikoku Pier again.

Diamond Princess was still docked at the pier.

I believe this was Haneda Airport.

Random picture of passing buildings.

Cherry blossoms along the highway.

Our bus arrived at Narita Airport.

Narita Airport
We were quite early (as always, we like to arrive early) getting to the airport, which gave us ample time to leisurely explore the airport a little. We were planning on going to the Priority Lounge but found out that it had nothing on offer. We were told that there is no food, no drinks, and cannot bring food inside. All you get is a place to sit. What a waste and a joke!

Do not go here even if you can.

Instead, we found this ramen shop with many other eateries at the food court area.

Enjoyed a delicious bowl of ramen.

Yum!

Now we are ready for the flight out to Taiwan.

Inflight meal which was quite nice for this short flight!
