Flying Luthansa Business from Seattle to Frankfurt

(Just came home from a month-long trip to the Mediterranean so I will be posting the most recent trip reports before continuing back to the Baltic trip.)

10/31/2012 (Wednesday) LAX-SEA-FRA

Our plane from LAX to SEA was on a SkyWest plane with United. We used the lounges in LAX and SEA but they were both just very basic with not much offered. Both lounges were very crowded also. I had to have some food with my medication so I had a fish and chips plate from Ivar's at the SEA airport. It was good! We had the Sunday brunch  at Ivar's in Seattle a couple of times before and really enjoyed it.
Gate A13 at SEA-TAC, where we boarded the plane from Seattle to Frankfurt.

Calling Ellen before boarding the plane.

Our plane pulling in...a little late.

Business class mini cabin, we were in the first row.

Frankfurt Airport is huge and can be very confusing. We took advise from Flyertalk and just "follow the signs" and finally got through security and transit gates to the Luthansa business lounge. This lounge is near gate 14, very crowded, so we ended up hanging out in this little area that serves as a computer room. There are only two stalls in the women's restroom for all these people. What were they thinking?

This has to be the worst lounge experience that we have been so far. Maybe I will feel differently if it was not as crowded.
