November 22, 2012 (Thursday) Vienna - Tokyo
We decided to get up early so we could walk down to the riverbank before leaving Vienna for our 1:15 flight to Tokyo. Breakfast at the Park Inn was perfect. They had a lot of selections and food was delicious, especially the croissants. Those were the best croissants I have ever had, even better than the fresly baked ones on MSC.
The walk down to the river was closer than I expected. It was a really nice walk with the part of the city that was just waking up. I was prepared with my sweater and scarf back on to keep warm.

This time we had to catch the airport bus from the hotel across the street.

This is the walkway up to the Ubahn station.
There is another airport bus stop at the VIC.
We took the 9:20 bus and got to the airport around 10am. We already had our boarding passes and no luggage to check-in, so it was just a matter of going through security. There was no line at all at the priority entrance.

Breakfast was served before landing at Narita Airport. This was a really comfortable flight with great service from the flight attendants. Austrian Airlines turned out to be one of our favorite airlines now. I am impressed!
It was a brief visit to Vienna but a memorable one. Just because of the connecting flight, we were able to spend a few hours in this beautiful city. One of these days we shall come back and spend more time seeing all the things that we ought to see. One of these days...
