Family outing (4/12/2013)
After resting for a day, we were taken on a family trip around the area. First, we went to check out the land that BIL purchased recently. They are planning to retire soon and since he likes fishing so much he bought a piece of land that comes with a fish pond.

When we were there, the village official and some other people came out to check on us. They thought we were from the government and maybe thinking of turning the area upside down.
Our next stop was the sea village of Dong Shi. It used to be an unattractive remote village but now seems to be very well-developed as a tourist attraction for locals.

It was a Friday and not a holiday, so the fisherman's wharf area was very quiet.
Then we drove to Bei Gang, Yun Lin for lunch. We dined here last year and were very impressed so we decided to revisit this place again.
