Incheon to Taipei
Incheon/Asiana Lounge/Asiana #711/Taoyuan/Chiayi--April 4, 2014 (Friday)
Waking up and watching the morning activities from the hotel window was kind of fun. Not only did we have a view of the airport with planes taking off and landing every few minutes, the sight of locals hurrying to work was interesting also. That's part of the fun in traveling, feeling the rhythm of the city.
I believe that's the convention center across the street.
The metro station was about two blocks away.
Incheon Airport
The hotel shuttle was waiting for us downstairs in the parking garage.
Back of the building (Incheon Airportel)
Front of the building
Back to Incheon Airport
Check-in was easy because we already had our boarding passes in hand.
We are quite familiar with this lounge by now.
Korean porridge
Good to have a little breakfast before boarding.
egg station
Our flight left on time at 10:10AM.
Salmon Steak
Watching Korean soap opera on my IPad.
Arriving Taoyuan, Taiwan
Shuttle to the High-speed train station in Taoyuan.
View of Taichung from the train.
After getting off the train, BIL took us to have a late lunch at the famous "Chiayi Chicken Rice" place.
I believe it's turkey meat instead of chicken, but I could be wrong.
It's across from a hospital in the city of Chiayi.
Quite delicious!
Milkfish soup
Boiled pork belly, yum!
