This is our real scheduled stop on this trip to Santorini. The time in port was a little strange, from 4pm to 11pm. We had a day to relax on the ship before getting in.
Some very interesting looking couches in the Spinnaker Lounge on the Gem. Very comfortable and hardly anyone else was there in the late morning.
Had lunch at the Magenta.
First tender to go on shore.
This time we decided to take the donkeys up to Fira. It was quite an experience. No one was leading the donkeys, they just do whatever they like. They walked if they wanted to or stop whenever they wanted. It was quite a task to try to control them. I must say at some points it was quite scary. We all got up safely though.
After getting off the donkeys we still had to hike a little more on our own.
We decided to stay in Fira today since we've already done Oia the week before.
Love these door knobs!
This woman asked to have a picture taken with Christian. Later on, we noticed that she was holding a knife in her hand. Strange, and scary!
Another great looking door knob.
Conference Center
Looking at Fira from the conference center.
After a couple of hours we decided to go back to the ship for dinner while the rest of our group stayed at Fira for the sunset. We asked for at table by the window at the Grand Pacific and watched the sunset from there.
Why pay more when you have already paid for your meal on board?
And watch the same beautiful sunset.
Enjoying the sunset and a nice dinner.
Night view of Fira.
