At Sea--Radiance OTS, Day 8, March 26, 2013
The weather was mostly cloudy this day, and high temperature was around 66F. The Windjammer was packed at around 9am. Most passengers took it easy and had a late breakfast. After the intensive ports on the previous days, it was nice to have a break and relax a little. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy all there is to do onboard. We really did not have a set agenda so everyone went their own way to do whatever they wanted to do on the ship.
We had a little bit of waves in the morning and the ship was rocking and rolling a little.
Went to the Crown Viking Lounge for some quiet time.
We were going to have lunch at the Cascades, but after checking out the posted menu, we decided to go to the Windjammer instead.
Just love those art pieces.
I decided to go to the Captain's Corner to hear Captain Sindre's talk at the Aurora Theater. Captain Sindre is very visible around the ship. He participated in many activities and seemed to be an easy going type of person. Together with the cruise director Ken, Captain Sindre was in the "Make a Cake Challenge" at the Centrum on this sea day. It was hilarious and all the passengers had a good time watching him making a mess.
I was there early and the program started late. After listening for about 15 minutes, the A/C was so cold that I just had to leave.
The rest of the afternoon was spent in the cabin.
Dinner Menu
