Our "Not Regular Tourists" Days in Hong Kong

It was so precious to see that our cousins and relatives are all well. This made our trip to Hong Kong even more special.

Thanks to Milly and KK for their generosity in making our trip to Hong Kong a pleasant one.

Having breakfast at the riverbank outside the apartment. There is a mall and a market in the apartment complex so it was really convenient to get what we needed. We must have looked pretty strange to have our little "picnic" out there. Several people gave us weird looks as they passed by so I looked around and see if there were signs posted for "NO EATING" in the area. No such signs!

Lunch served on the boat. After this picture my camera ran out of batteries so I don't have any picture of our trip to Macau. We took the HOHO (hop-on hop-off) bus for the day and it was well worth the price of $100HK pp. It was rather hot sitting on the topless deck but the ride was interesting.

Waiting to board the turbo jet to Macau. We only planned on spending the day there. No problem getting tickets at the pier but there were a lot of people there.  To avoid having to deal with the crowds, we decided to purchase the VIP tickets. This is the lounge for VIP class at the pier.

Milly and KK graciously offered their vacant apartment for us to stay at while we were in Hong Kong.

Another site full of fond memories--the big clock tower. This used to be the main train station and there was also a post office where dad would pick up his mail years ago.

I personally think that this is the most beautiful MRT station in Hong Kong--Tai Wai.

A spacious apartment, better than any hotel room. MRT and bus stations just a couple of minutes walk away.
