Asiana 601 Incheon, South Korea to Sydney, Australia (Business) March 16, 2014
Our 10-hour flight from Incheon to Sydney was on the A330-300 aircraft. We left from Gate 41 at Incheon Internationl Airport on time at 8:20PM and would have arrived at 8:20AM March 17 with the two hours time difference. There was a second security check at the gate but we were spared of that routine.
Our seats 3A, 3C, and 4A.
pre-flight drinks--blubbly
This time we both had the western meals.
Salmon Mousse
Cauliflower Soup
Pan-fried Seabass (MOR's)
Beef Tenderloin
As we were approaching Sydney, we had a great view of the most amazing sunrise out of our windows!
Then it was time for breakfast.
fresh fruit and yogurt
seafood crepe
Korean rice porridge
Now, a birdseye's view of the beautiful city of Sydney!
flying above Sydney Airport
out to the coast
the beaches
Then landed safely at the airport, but we were 25 minutes late already. Being in Business class we were in line for immigration ahead of hundreds of other passengers but still we were stuck for over an hour inching along, waiting to go through one of the four opened counters. This had to be the worst immigration line we experienced of all the years of travel. With the delay and the big long line, our pre-arranged and paid for shuttle left us behind at the airport. We had to find our own ways to get to the hotel. Our one and only glitch that we had on this trip. Not a pleasant start!
